‘JL’ Case Study

During one of our free music studio sessions, we had a live intervention involving a young person, JL. While JL was recording music, another young person outside of the studio rang him, inviting him to have a fight. JL refused, deciding to continue to record in the session.

It was proof that providing a safe space for young people can prove crucial, as we provide them with a means of doing and a positive alternative than taking part in violent activities in the local community.

'WA' Case Study

WA attended our sessions weekly, gradually building the confidence to record his first song. He completed the recording process here and later progressed to shooting his debut music video ‘On a Mission’, which has now garnered over 5000 views on YouTube.

Our free sessions helped giving him the confidence and platform to record and helping him believe that recording music professionally was achievable.
